Personal Reflections on Reincarnation

I have occasionally been asked, since I have been working for several years on a novel in which the key element is a heresy in which reincarnation is a primary doctrine, whether I personally believe in reincarnation . For a discussion of this in some detail see my post of September 17, 2026. My verbal response is usually the following:

I am absolutely certain that reincarnation in all of its manifestations is a fantasy, total nonsense, a pipe dream in which mysticism is substituted for science and self deception and hope replace logic;

And I have been totally convinced of this position in each of my 7 previous lives.
