Former lawyer (but don’t hold that against me; several former lawyers became fair writers after coming to their senses about career choices). Graduate of the University of Virginia and, following service as a Captain in the Air Force, the law school at the College of William & Mary. Practiced law in Virginia Beach/Norfolk area.  Currently reside in log home on small mountain farm in southwest Virginia. Interests: history,science, motorcycles, snow sking, travel, horseback riding, and my two hundred plus pound Mastiff Ranger.
